There are a variety of Restaurants where we stay overnight, where the average main meal price is £15, so maybe, if you would like to go into a castle, and have a meal it could cost you £25, but remember that price is just an estimate, and the price of your accommodation is also extra, that price all depends on your chosen accommodation.

I have no restrictions, I can drive/guide any tour up to a max of 16 passengers, I will meet you at your city accommodation or if it's a cruise ship tour from Edinburgh, Invergordon or Portree, I can take you wherever you want to go, Chì mi fhathast thu

Day 1, we will depart Edinburgh, taking in Stirling Castle, Doune Castle, Glen Coe, The Great Glen, Glenfinnan Viaduct, and onto Skye, for your 2 nights accommodation.

Day 2, A magical day awaits as we will travel the Jurassic coastline of Trotternish, incorporating the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, then onto the Quiraing, known for its wonderful rock formations and stunning coastal views, and in the afternoon we shall travel west and onto Neist Point and then back to your accommodation.

Day 3, We depart Skye, and travel towards the Highland Capital of Inverness, where we will experience Clava Cairns (4500yrs old burial cairns ), Culloden Battlefield (1746), Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle (foundation stones date back 700yrs). before we arrive at your accommodation for the night.

Day 4, We travel south towards Edinburgh, taking in the Cairngorm Mountains, Highland Perthshire, and onto the 3 Bridges, (each Bridge was built in a different century) and then back to your accommodation.

Terms and Conditions,

What's included in the price? - the price quoted for each tour is inclusive of transportation and guiding only. Lunch and other refreshments are not included. Entrance fees to attractions, ferries and other transportation costs are not included.

Your booking is not confirmed until we have issued your booking confirmation. At that point a binding contract will be entered into between us. Unless otherwise agreed, a booking confirmation will only be issued once we have received full payment from you. We cannot be held responsible if any tour in which you are interested becomes fully booked or otherwise unavailable prior to full payment being received from you

Customer Conduct

The consumption of alcohol is not permitted on any of our vehicles.

Smoking -Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle

Behaviour - we reserve the right to refuse to carry any person or persons whose behaviour is causing offence or alarm to others. In such cases full cancellation charges will apply.


Whilst Kilted Coastal Tours maintains insurance meeting all statutory requirements, we strongly recommend that passengers hold comprehensive and suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance to cover for eventualities during travel.


Kilted Coastal Tours and the vehicle is insured for passenger and third party claims, as required by law. However, whilst every care is always taken, customers' personal property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage thereto. Customers are therefore required to ensure that they carry adequate and relevant travel, medical and cancellation insurance - this forms part of the specific contract of the tour and must be in place. In the event of client illness, then the relevant client must accept responsibility for any medical costs incurred and Kilted Coastal Tours shall not be liable to refund any part of the tour cost


Kilted Coastal Tours accepts no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our negligence, in which case our liability is limited to a maximum of the tour cost. Any activities such as walks or visits to attractions are completely at the clients own risk.

Kilted Coastal Tours will use all reasonable means to ensure that the vehicle arrives on time to begin the tour and that it reaches its destination on time. The Company will not incur any liability whatsoever in the event of any delay due to causes or circumstances beyond its control.

Force Majeure

Kilted Coastal Tours does not accept any liability for any loss, inconvenience or damage caused by war, threat of war, riot or civil commotion, terrorist or criminal activity, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fires, illness, weather conditions, road traffic conditions, temporary technical, electrical or mechanical breakdown.


We reserve the right to change the type of vehicle used if the circumstances dictate this is necessary.

Alterations to itineraries

 We reserve the right to change tour itineraries due to weather, availability of attractions, roadworks or any other situation beyond our control. Refunds will not be offered in these circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

For one day sightseeing tours, the following cancellation charges shall apply (depending on the effective date of cancellation):-

  1. a) cancellation more than 72 hours before the tour departure: you will be charged 10% of the price paid by you in respect of your sightseeing tour;
  2. b) cancellation less than 72 hours before the tour departure: we shall be entitled to charge the full amount of the price paid by you in respect of your sightseeing tour unless we agree (entirely in our discretion) to pay you a full or a partial refund. We will advise you of our decision on this upon receiving your cancellation request/enquiry.

If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.

Cancellation by Us

We will only cancel tours due to unforeseeable circumstances which are outwith our control or which might jeopardise your safety. If we cancel your tour then we will always refund you, in full, for all sums paid by you.
